ABOUT OUR TEAM
Alejandro "Alex" Nieto, LNHA - Senior Care Advisor

Alejandro is a Kansas Native. Growing up in southwest Kansas, he has now called Wichita home for over 10 years. He has always had a passion for helping others and a desire to be in healthcare. He began his professional career in the Funeral Service industry, serving Central and Southwest Kansas communities by helping families cope with the loss of a loved one. While serving as a Funeral Director and embalmer, that’s when he realized he knew he was meant to help those during their greatest needs. He then went on to become a licensed Nursing Home Administrator, which is a role he currently serves in.
Now with nearly two decades of experience working with families to assist loved ones during the aging process, he has extensive knowledge of geriatric care, including insurance (Medicare vs Managed care vs Medicaid process), quality measures, skilled Medicare stays vs non-skilled stay, available options to fit family needs and what the next stops look like. He loves to build positive relationships with families and community stakeholders. He prides himself in effectively collaborating with healthcare professionals, such as those in therapy services and acute care providers (physicians, medical directors) to provide optimal care. He is also bilingual, fluent in Spanish, which allows him to expand his ability to connect with and assist people in need.

As a Senior Care Advisor, Alejandro’s goal is to expand his ability to help those in their greatest need in navigating all Medicaid/Medicare processes all across central Kansas. When he isn’t helping families, Alejandro enjoys spending time with his daughter and wife. They enjoy family golf outings, trips to the zoo, biking, and visiting family.
